Best companies to work for in Greenwood?

The food scene here is pretty good. Tons of great Thai places. it exceeded my expectations.

Renting here right now, paying about /mo for a 1-bedroom. it exceeded my expectations. Compared to Charlotte it's tough.

Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.
I'm a electrician who relocated here from Charlotte about 10 years ago. The main reasons were a fresh start and my partner's job.
Pros I've experienced:
- Great outdoor activities nearby
- Nice parks and green spaces
- Four distinct seasons
Cons that are real:
- Summers can be brutally hot
- Not very walkable outside downtown
Financially, we've found it improving compared to where we came from. It's gotten pricier but still beats the coasts. Groceries are established, gas is surprisingly good.
Socially, I wouldn't want to live anywhere else right now. Definitely worth checking out..
