The good and bad of living in Greenwood
Been meaning to ask this. I'm a college student here and Homes are going for about $248,700 on average. The unemployment rate is 1.7%, which is pretty low. The median home value here is around $248,700, which is actually reasonable. Property taxes are high but you get good services. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable.
Pros:
- Strong sense of community
- Good internet infrastructure
- Good airport connections
Cons:
- Traffic can be terrible
- Lack of diversity
- Poor road conditions
- Limited cultural events
- Homelessness issues downtown
