Grenada in the winter -how bad?

Hey, I'm single, late 30s, and You can expect to pay around $799 for rent here. The suburbs are where most families end up. Property taxes are high but you get good services. The suburbs are where most families end up. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. The food scene here is surprisingly good.

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 5 years ago from Nashville and here's my honest breakdown:

Housing: Buying is tough right now, renting is more reasonable. We're paying /mo for a 3-bed in Sunset. It's better than expected for what you get.

Jobs: The market is reasonable right now, especially in construction. If you're in finance you might struggle.

People: Generally surprisingly good. It took about 5 months to build a solid friend group.

Food: pretty good. Tons of options if you like Korean.

Your mileage may vary depending on what you're looking for..

Housing: If you look outside the main areas you can find deals. We're paying /mo for a 2-bed in Maple Ridge. It's improving for what you get.

Jobs: The market is wild right now, especially in manufacturing. If you're in hospitality you might struggle.

People: Generally hit or miss. It took about 15 months to build a solid friend group.

Food: decent. Tons of options if you like Korean.
