Grenada job market vs Orlando

Hey everyone, I'm a teacher here and You can expect to pay around $799 for rent here. The city has invested a lot in new development. Would love some local perspective. Thanks in advance! Public transit needs a lot of work honestly.

Bought a house here in 2016 and I'm still on the fence after all this time. Property values have gone up a bit since then.

I've lived in The Heights for about 9 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.

there are trade-offs but the good outweighs the bad. When I first moved here from Austin, I was surprised by nightlife. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.

A few things worth knowing:
- Growing food and restaurant scene
- Low crime in most neighborhoods
- The weather scene is improving

The downsides:
- Can feel isolated
- Far from beaches/mountains

Overall I'd rate it 5/10 for singles. Give it a chance - it might surprise you..
