OK so Military spouse here. The unemployment rate is 3.5%, which is pretty low. Average temperature is around 53--F, so expect cold winters. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. Am I overthinking this? Thanks in advance! The suburbs are where most families end up. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much.
