What's it really like living in Gresham?

Hello, I'm a college student here and It's a a mid-size city city with about 113K people. The median home value here is around $440,000, which is pretty steep. Average temperature is around 53--F, so expect cold winters. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. It's not perfect, but the community is solid.

Came here for cost of living and stayed because it's improved dramatically in recent years. The job market is honestly excellent and I don't see that changing anytime soon.
