Longtime lurker here, Just moved here 15 months ago and Crime rate is something to consider -Gretna sits at 671.2 per 100K. The unemployment rate is 4.0%, which is pretty low. Homes are going for about $242,600 on average. Median household income is $46,045, which feels on the lower side for the area. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. Property taxes are high but you get good services. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood.
