Living in Greybull -the reality

We're a young couple and Homes are going for about $159,200 on average. You can expect to pay around $835 for rent here. Household incomes average around $62,941 in Greybull. With a population of 2,061, Greybull is a small town. Rent is about $835/month for a decent place. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus.

Pros:
- Great weather
- Nice parks and trails
- Diverse community
- Easy commute
- Good airport connections

Cons:
- Traffic can be terrible
- Not very walkable
- Lack of diversity
Worth the trade-offs? Thanks! The food scene here is surprisingly good. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. The food scene here is surprisingly good. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting.

My experience has been mostly positive. I'm still on the fence after all this time. The only thing I'd watch out for is cost of living. Other than that, Good luck with whatever you decide..

Real talk - this place is not for everyone, and I think that's OK.

If you value healthcare, you'll love it. The public transit is genuinely underrated and I've found I love the pace of life here. My neighborhood (Pine Hills) is competitive and I feel safe walking around at night.

But if you're coming from New York, be prepared for the culture shock. nightlife is completely different here. And Traffic during rush hour is rough.

My advice would be to visit for at least a week before committing. Rent first, don't buy. And explore multiple neighborhoods - they're all different.

Came here for weather and stayed because there are trade-offs but the good outweighs the bad. The community vibe is honestly surprisingly good and I don't see that changing anytime soon.

Public transit is average here. You'll probably need a car for most things. I have mixed feelings honestly.
