First post here. Just moved here 4 months ago and You can expect to pay around $1,500 for rent here. Crime rate is something to consider -Grosse Pointe Farms sits at 98.8 per 100K. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. Has anyone dealt with this? There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood.
