Relocating to Groton, MA -pros and cons?
Hello, We have two kids and Poverty rate is 4.5%, which is pretty low. Homes are going for about $736,800 on average. Property taxes are high but you get good services. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. The weather takes some getting used to. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. What would you do? There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. The food scene here is surprisingly good. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. The city has invested a lot in new development. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. The weather takes some getting used to.
