Planning a move to Grove -neighborhoods?

Alright, I'm retired and You can expect to pay around $887 for rent here. Rent is about $887/month for a decent place. The median home value here is around $232,400, which is actually reasonable. Crime rate is something to consider -Grove sits at 238.5 per 100K. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. The city has invested a lot in new development. The suburbs are where most families end up. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. The suburbs are where most families end up. The city has invested a lot in new development. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. The weather takes some getting used to. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.

I'm a lawyer who relocated here from Salt Lake City about 2 years ago. The main reasons were quality of life and family.

Pros I've experienced:
- Great outdoor activities nearby
- Growing food and restaurant scene
- Good airport with direct flights

Cons that are real:
- Chain restaurants dominate
- Homeless population growing downtown

Financially, we've found it better than expected compared to where we came from. If you look outside the main areas you can find deals. Groceries are growing, gas is surprisingly good.

Socially, it's improved dramatically in recent years. Your mileage may vary depending on what you're looking for..

I work in government here and the quality of life is solid. The job market for my field is solid. It's not for everyone but it works for us..

Public transit is better than expected here. You'll probably need a car for most things. the quality of life is solid.

Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.

I'm a teacher who relocated here from Boston about 15 years ago. The main reasons were work and retirement.

Pros I've experienced:
- Cost of living is very reasonable
- Good airport with direct flights
- Strong sense of community

Cons that are real:
- Nightlife is limited
- Not very walkable outside downtown

Financially, we've found it improving compared to where we came from. It's gotten pricier but still beats the coasts. Groceries are competitive, gas is improving.

Socially, it's been a really good experience overall. Good luck with whatever you decide..
