Cheapest neighborhoods in Groves?

I relocated for work and It's a a small town city with about 17,021 people. You can expect to pay around $1,247 for rent here. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. What do you all think? Looking forward to hearing from you all. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that.

My experience has been mostly positive. I genuinely enjoy living here. The only thing I'd watch out for is housing market. Other than that, No regrets on my end..

Real talk - this place is not for everyone, and I think that's OK.

If you value job market, you'll love it. The school system is genuinely pretty good and I've found I'm still on the fence after all this time. My neighborhood (Sunset) is competitive and I feel safe walking around at night.

But if you're coming from Pittsburgh, be prepared for the culture shock. walkability is completely different here. And Rising rent and home prices.

My advice would be to visit for at least a week before committing. Rent first, don't buy. And explore multiple neighborhoods - they're all different.
