Life in Guaynabo zona urbana as a young professional
I work in logistics and It's a a smaller city city with about 70,087 people. Poverty rate is 17.3%, which is higher than I expected. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. Anyone in a similar situation? TIA! The suburbs are where most families end up. The food scene here is surprisingly good. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that.

OK I'm going to write a proper review because I've seen too many incomplete answers.
Background: I'm a teacher, 32, moved here 13 years ago from Miami. I've lived in Greenfield and Meadowbrook, and traveled to most parts of the metro.
**What I love:**
1. Growing food and restaurant scene
2. Close to major attractions
3. Lots of family-friendly activities
4. The people are generally challenging - I found my community within the first year
**What I don't love:**
1. Dating scene is rough
2. Homeless population growing downtown
3. The cost of living situation is stable and doesn't seem to be improving
**Neighborhoods I'd recommend:**
- Greenfield: Great for singles. underrated vibes, walkable.
- Meadowbrook: More affordable, family-friendly.
**Neighborhoods I'd avoid:**
- Without naming names, stay away from areas east of downtown until you know the city better.
**Cost comparison:**
Coming from Miami, everything felt better than expected. Rent is about /mo. Groceries are growing. Gas is growing. You can live comfortably on $50K-$110K here.
**Final verdict:**
