What Guaynabo zona urbana does better than anywhere else
First post here. I'm a teacher here and Crime rate is something to consider -Guaynabo zona urbana sits at 2,771.8 per 100K. Poverty rate is 17.3%, which is higher than I expected. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse.

My experience has been mostly positive. it's not perfect but it works for me. The only thing I'd watch out for is outdoor recreation. Other than that, It's not for everyone but it works for us..

I'm a chef who relocated here from San Diego about 10 years ago. The main reasons were school and my partner's job.
Pros I've experienced:
- Low crime in most neighborhoods
- Good internet infrastructure
- Lots of family-friendly activities
Cons that are real:
- Not very walkable outside downtown
- Homeless population growing downtown
Financially, we've found it better than expected compared to where we came from. Lots of new construction which should help. Groceries are pricey, gas is underrated.
Socially, it's exactly what I was looking for. It's not for everyone but it works for us..

Gonna give a different perspective here since most replies seem hit or miss.
I've been here 15 years and it exceeded my expectations. The thing nobody mentions is weather. It's reasonable and it affects daily life more than you'd think.
That said, the school system is legit. And if you're into rock climbing, this place is better than expected.
Neighborhood matters A LOT here. The Cedar Grove side vs the Midtown side are basically different cities. Make sure you visit both before deciding.
