What's it really like living in Gulf Shores?

Hi all, It's a a small town city with about 15,785 people. Homes are going for about $367,000 on average. The food scene here is surprisingly good. What neighborhoods would you suggest? The suburbs are where most families end up. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level.

My experience has been mostly positive. I genuinely enjoy living here. The only thing I'd watch out for is job market. Other than that, Hope this helps!.

Bought a house here in 2021 and the quality of life is solid. Property values have gone up significantly since then.

Used to live on the Maple Ridge side, now on the Pine Hills side. Completely different vibe. it exceeded my expectations.
