I've been living here for 8 years and I'd say I wouldn't want to live anywhere else right now. The walkability is pretty good compared to other places I've lived. Overall Good luck with whatever you decide..

Gonna give a different perspective here since most replies seem surprisingly good.

I've been here 5 years and I love the pace of life here. The thing nobody mentions is traffic. It's affordable and it affects daily life more than you'd think.

That said, the traffic is legit. And if you're into fishing, this place is pretty good.

Neighborhood matters A LOT here. The Springfield side vs the Meadowbrook side are basically different cities. Make sure you visit both before deciding.
