Best neighborhoods in Hagan

So, Been living here since 2005. Homes are going for about $144,600 on average. It's a a small town city with about 1,466 people. Average temperature is around 66--F, so the weather is moderate. The median home value here is around $144,600, which is actually reasonable. You can expect to pay around $792 for rent here. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. Property taxes are high but you get good services.

Pros:
- Low crime in most areas
- Strong sense of community
- Good internet infrastructure
- Active local events
- Good airport connections

Cons:
- Cold winters
- Limited dining options
- Few job opportunities in some fields
The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable.

Alright, I'll give you the full rundown since I see a lot of surface-level answers here.

I've been in Riverside for 2 years. Moved from Houston for work. Here's my honest, detailed take:

**Housing:**
The market right now is challenging. We bought in 2016 at k and it's now worth about the same than that. If you're renting, expect /mo for a decent 3-bed in a safe area. Lots of new construction which should help.

**Employment:**
healthcare is strong here. legal is hit or miss. If you're remote, you'll love the cost of living. Average salaries are developing for the area.

**Quality of Life:**
I genuinely enjoy living here. The outdoor scene is underrated - we have rivers within easy driving distance. Dining has gotten so much better in the past few years.

**Schools (if relevant):**
Varies hugely by district. Riverside schools are pretty good. If you have kids, this should be your number one factor in choosing a neighborhood.

**The Bad:**
I'd be lying if I said everything is great. Urban sprawl is real. Chain restaurants dominate. And dating scene can be frustrating.

**Bottom line:**
For remote workers, I'd say this is a 9/10. Feel free to reach out with questions.. Feel free to ask specific questions - happy to help.

Public transit is underrated here. You'll probably need a car for most things. I wouldn't want to live anywhere else right now.

Came here for a fresh start and stayed because I have mixed feelings honestly. The housing market is honestly excellent and I don't see that changing anytime soon.
