Anyone regret moving to Haines City?

Been living here since 2019. Poverty rate is 12.6%, which is around average. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. Am I wrong here? There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods.

Used to live on the North side, now on the Midtown side. Completely different vibe. it's improved dramatically in recent years.

The food scene here is solid. Tons of great Italian places. it's been a really good experience overall.

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 13 years ago from Tampa and here's my honest breakdown:

Housing: The market is competitive but not impossible. We're paying /mo for a 2-bed in West. It's average for what you get.

Jobs: The market is competitive right now, especially in marketing. If you're in consulting you might struggle.

People: Generally average. It took about 10 months to build a solid friend group.

Food: decent. Tons of options if you like Mexican.

Happy to answer more specific questions..
