Is public transit usable in Halawa?

I'm retired and Rent is about $1,619/month for a decent place. The food scene here is surprisingly good. Thoughts? The suburbs are where most families end up. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. The city has invested a lot in new development.

Bought a house here in 2021 and it's improved dramatically in recent years. Property values have gone down slightly since then.
