Hey everyone, My family moved here when I was a kid. Crime rate is something to consider -Hallandale Beach sits at 441.7 per 100K. Rent is about $1,580/month for a decent place. Average temperature is around 76--F, so it's warm year-round. The median home value here is around $256,900, which seems about average. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. Should I be concerned? The suburbs are where most families end up. The food scene here is surprisingly good. The city has invested a lot in new development. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years.
