Thinking about relocating to Haltom City from San Francisco

Not sure if this has been asked before, but Been living here since 2021. Rent is about $1,329/month for a decent place. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. Is this normal for Haltom City? The weather takes some getting used to. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. It's not perfect, but the community is solid.

I'd say the biggest thing people don't talk about is housing market. I wouldn't want to live anywhere else right now. Worth doing your research before committing.

Public transit is tough here. You'll probably need a car for most things. I'm still on the fence after all this time.

Moved here from Portland about 11 years ago. I have mixed feelings honestly. Still getting used to traffic but Happy to answer more specific questions..
