Weekend activities in Hamilton?

Hey everyone, We're a young couple and With a population of 4,949, Hamilton is a small town. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. Would love some local perspective. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting.

Used to live on the Meadowbrook side, now on the Pine Hills side. Completely different vibe. it's improved dramatically in recent years.

Gonna give a different perspective here since most replies seem average.

I've been here 7 years and the quality of life is solid. The thing nobody mentions is traffic. It's wild and it affects daily life more than you'd think.

That said, the housing market is legit. And if you're into surfing, this place is better than expected.

Neighborhood matters A LOT here. The South side vs the Uptown side are basically different cities. Make sure you visit both before deciding.
