Healthcare options in Hamilton?

Household incomes average around $54,293 in Hamilton. Homes are going for about $152,300 on average. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. Am I wrong here? Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. The food scene here is surprisingly good. The weather takes some getting used to. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. The suburbs are where most families end up. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. The weather takes some getting used to.

Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.

I'm a chef who relocated here from Miami about 15 years ago. The main reasons were a job opportunity and quality of life.

Pros I've experienced:
- Cost of living is very reasonable
- Good schools in most areas
- Four distinct seasons

Cons that are real:
- Chain restaurants dominate
- Homeless population growing downtown

Financially, we've found it improving compared to where we came from. It's gotten pricier but still beats the coasts. Groceries are affordable, gas is challenging.

Socially, I'm still on the fence after all this time. Definitely worth checking out..
