What to expect moving to Hamilton?

Random thought, I'm a college student here and Homes are going for about $152,300 on average. Household incomes average around $54,293 in Hamilton. Rent is about $974/month for a decent place. It's a a smaller city city with about 63,124 people. Crime rate is something to consider -Hamilton sits at 426.4 per 100K. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. The food scene here is surprisingly good. The suburbs are where most families end up. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. The suburbs are where most families end up. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look.
