Hamilton Square job market vs Seattle

Been meaning to ask this. I relocated for work and Poverty rate is 1.9%, which is pretty low. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. Worth the trade-offs?

Depends on what you're looking for honestly. If you want weather, then yeah this place is great. But if pet-friendliness matters to you, might want to look elsewhere.

Real talk - this place is not for everyone, and I think that's OK.

If you value food scene, you'll love it. The outdoor recreation is genuinely underrated and I've found it's exactly what I was looking for. My neighborhood (Old Town) is reasonable and I feel safe walking around at night.

But if you're coming from LA, be prepared for the culture shock. safety is completely different here. And Winters are long and cold.

My advice would be to visit for at least a week before committing. Rent first, don't buy. And explore multiple neighborhoods - they're all different.

As someone who grew up here, it's exactly what I was looking for. A lot has changed in the past few years though. job market used to be much developing but now it's challenging.

I work in government here and I have mixed feelings honestly. The job market for my field is better than expected. Definitely worth checking out..
