Best coffee shops in Hamlet?

Longtime lurker here, My partner and I are The unemployment rate is 6.2%, which is concerning. Rent is about $553/month for a decent place. Homes are going for about $103,800 on average. With a population of 6,000, Hamlet is a small town. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. Am I overthinking this? I'd say it's better for families than young singles. The suburbs are where most families end up. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. The food scene here is surprisingly good. It's not perfect, but the community is solid.

Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.

I'm a project manager who relocated here from Minneapolis about 13 years ago. The main reasons were my partner's job and my partner's job.

Pros I've experienced:
- Friendly community, easy to meet people
- Good schools in most areas
- Affordable housing options

Cons that are real:
- Nightlife is limited
- Far from beaches/mountains

Financially, we've found it underrated compared to where we came from. The market is competitive but not impossible. Groceries are wild, gas is hit or miss.

Socially, I love the pace of life here. Hope this helps!.
