Hello, I'm retired and It's a a small town city with about 6,000 people. With a population of 6,000, Hamlet is a small town. Rent is about $553/month for a decent place. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. The city has invested a lot in new development. Worth the trade-offs? The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus.
