Commute times in Hampshire -how bad?

I've lived in Pine Hills for about 11 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.
it exceeded my expectations. When I first moved here from Dallas, I was surprised by public transit. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.
A few things worth knowing:
- Lots of new development happening
- Strong sense of community
- The weather scene is solid
The downsides:
- Property taxes are high
- Homeless population growing downtown
Overall I'd rate it 7/10 for retirees. It's not for everyone but it works for us..
