Anyone work in healthcare in Hampton?

You can expect to pay around $1,346 for rent here. Household incomes average around $67,758 in Hampton. The food scene here is surprisingly good. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that.

I've been living here for 9 years and I'd say there are trade-offs but the good outweighs the bad. The pet-friendliness is hit or miss compared to other places I've lived. Overall No regrets on my end..

My experience has been mostly positive. there are trade-offs but the good outweighs the bad. The only thing I'd watch out for is outdoor recreation. Other than that, Feel free to reach out with questions..

I've lived in Eastside for about 11 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.

it's improved dramatically in recent years. When I first moved here from LA, I was surprised by food scene. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.

A few things worth knowing:
- Four distinct seasons
- Good airport with direct flights
- The safety scene is solid

The downsides:
- Urban sprawl is real
- Dating scene is rough

Overall I'd rate it 5/10 for retirees. Feel free to reach out with questions..

Real talk - this place is not for everyone, and I think that's OK.

If you value cost of living, you'll love it. The cultural scene is genuinely better than expected and I've found it exceeded my expectations. My neighborhood (Riverside) is wild and I feel safe walking around at night.

But if you're coming from Boston, be prepared for the culture shock. community vibe is completely different here. And Limited public transit options.

My advice would be to visit for at least a week before committing. Rent first, don't buy. And explore multiple neighborhoods - they're all different.
