Is Hanahan worth it salary-wise?

Longtime lurker here, I'm a college student here and Median household income is $84,061, which feels pretty solid for the area. Crime rate is something to consider -Hanahan sits at 204.2 per 100K. Rent is about $1,324/month for a decent place. Average temperature is around 67--F, so the weather is moderate. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. Anyone in a similar situation? TIA! Night life is decent if you know the right spots. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. The food scene here is surprisingly good. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. The city has invested a lot in new development. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. It's not perfect, but the community is solid.

I'm a contractor and I've found I have mixed feelings honestly. The community is underrated and there's always something going on.

I'd say the biggest thing people don't talk about is walkability. there are trade-offs but the good outweighs the bad. Worth doing your research before committing.

I'm a project manager and I've found I wouldn't want to live anywhere else right now. The community is tough and there's always something going on.
