What's it really like living in Hanover?
Not sure if this has been asked before, but Born and raised here. Crime rate is something to consider -Hanover sits at 235.6 per 100K. The median home value here is around $200,900, which is actually reasonable. Poverty rate is 10.7%, which is around average. With a population of 16,483, Hanover is a small town. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. Am I overthinking this? The food scene here is surprisingly good. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. The food scene here is surprisingly good. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus.
