Thinking about relocating to Hanover Park from Indianapolis

Been living here since 2014. Poverty rate is 12.4%, which is around average. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. The suburbs are where most families end up. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. The weather takes some getting used to. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that.

Renting here right now, paying about /mo for a 3-bedroom. I genuinely enjoy living here. Compared to Charlotte it's tough.

Hot take but it was the best decision I ever made. I know a lot of people disagree but after 10 years here, that's my honest assessment.
