OK so I'm a remote worker and The median home value here is around $142,800, which is actually reasonable. Average temperature is around 48--F, so expect cold winters. Poverty rate is 18.3%, which is higher than I expected. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. The city has invested a lot in new development. Am I overthinking this? Any help is appreciated. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that.
