Harrisburg is underrated, change my mind

Average temperature is around 61--F, so the weather is moderate. The median home value here is around $431,900, which is pretty steep. Poverty rate is 3.3%, which is pretty low. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. Property taxes are high but you get good services. I work in manufacturing here and there are trade-offs but the good outweighs the bad. The job market for my field is solid. Happy to answer more specific questions..

I've been living here for 4 years and I'd say I wouldn't want to live anywhere else right now. The walkability is challenging compared to other places I've lived. Overall Give it a chance - it might surprise you..
