Raising a family in Harrisburg -thoughts?

I grew up here but left for a while. The unemployment rate is 6.3%, which is concerning. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly.

Renting here right now, paying about /mo for a 2-bedroom. there are trade-offs but the good outweighs the bad. Compared to Tampa it's pretty good.
