Random thought, Crime rate is something to consider -Harrison sits at 255.8 per 100K. With a population of 19,599, Harrison is a small town. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. Am I overthinking this?

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 13 years ago from Denver and here's my honest breakdown:
Housing: Lots of new construction which should help. We're paying /mo for a 4-bed in Maple Ridge. It's surprisingly good for what you get.
Jobs: The market is affordable right now, especially in construction. If you're in engineering you might struggle.
People: Generally tough. It took about 7 months to build a solid friend group.
Food: improving. Tons of options if you like Asian.
Your mileage may vary depending on what you're looking for..

From a safety perspective, it really depends on the area. Some neighborhoods are underrated, others not so much. Do your research on specific streets.
