Moving to Harrison -what should I know?

Hey folks, Median household income is $89,753, which feels pretty solid for the area. The median home value here is around $254,600, which seems about average. The unemployment rate is 0.9%, which is pretty low. With a population of 8,446, Harrison is a small town. The weather takes some getting used to. The suburbs are where most families end up. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. The city has invested a lot in new development. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. The weather takes some getting used to.

The food scene here is pretty good. Tons of great sushi places. I'm still on the fence after all this time.

I'd say the biggest thing people don't talk about is job market. I have mixed feelings honestly. Worth doing your research before committing.
