Best neighborhoods in Harrison

Hi all, Born and raised here. The median home value here is around $314,200, which seems about average. It's a a small town city with about 13,345 people. Crime rate is something to consider -Harrison sits at 139.4 per 100K. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. The weather takes some getting used to. The suburbs are where most families end up. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years.

Pros:
- Great weather
- Low crime in most areas
- Good healthcare facilities
- Walkable downtown
- Good internet infrastructure

Cons:
- Lack of diversity
- Limited cultural events
- Chain restaurants dominate
- Homelessness issues downtown
What do you all think? The city has invested a lot in new development. The weather takes some getting used to. The suburbs are where most families end up. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level.

Public transit is surprisingly good here. You'll probably need a car for most things. it's exactly what I was looking for.

If you're remote, this place is great for cost of living. I'm still on the fence after all this time. Internet is better than expected in most areas.
