So, Homes are going for about $278,200 on average. Crime rate is something to consider -Harrisonburg sits at 205.9 per 100K. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. Should I be concerned?

Public transit is hit or miss here. You'll probably need a car for most things. I love the pace of life here.
