Hi all, I'm a college student here and The unemployment rate is 4.3%, which is about average. With a population of 51,492, Harrisonburg is a smaller city. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. What neighborhoods would you suggest? It's not perfect, but the community is solid. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus.
