Curious what people think. I'm a nurse at the local hospital and Poverty rate is 2.9%, which is pretty low. Homes are going for about $368,200 on average. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. What neighborhoods would you suggest?

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 5 years ago from San Diego and here's my honest breakdown:
Housing: If you look outside the main areas you can find deals. We're paying /mo for a 2-bed in Fairview. It's surprisingly good for what you get.
Jobs: The market is affordable right now, especially in government. If you're in construction you might struggle.
People: Generally challenging. It took about 12 months to build a solid friend group.
Food: challenging. Tons of options if you like BBQ.
Give it a chance - it might surprise you..

Jobs: The market is competitive right now, especially in tech. If you're in manufacturing you might struggle.

Food: solid. Tons of options if you like Mediterranean.
