Hey, Homes are going for about $192,200 on average. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. What do you all think? Night life is decent if you know the right spots. The food scene here is surprisingly good. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood.

If you're remote, this place is great for cost of living. it exceeded my expectations. Internet is tough in most areas.

Not gonna lie, the first year was rough. But once you find your neighborhood and your people, I genuinely enjoy living here. No regrets on my end..

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 7 years ago from Raleigh and here's my honest breakdown:
Housing: If you look outside the main areas you can find deals. We're paying /mo for a 2-bed in Downtown. It's decent for what you get.
Jobs: The market is stable right now, especially in legal. If you're in manufacturing you might struggle.
People: Generally tough. It took about 17 months to build a solid friend group.
Food: improving. Tons of options if you like Asian.
