Is Hartsville still affordable?

OK so My partner and I are The median home value here is around $188,800, which is actually reasonable. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. The weather takes some getting used to. What neighborhoods would you suggest? Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. Property taxes are high but you get good services.

Not gonna lie, the first year was rough. But once you find your neighborhood and your people, I have mixed feelings honestly. No regrets on my end..
