Anyone work in healthcare in Harvey?

Alright, We have two kids and Average temperature is around 42--F, so bundle up in winter. Median household income is $75,188, which feels about average for the area. The median home value here is around $235,600, which is actually reasonable. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. The weather takes some getting used to. What would you do? Appreciate any input. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. The city has invested a lot in new development. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. The food scene here is surprisingly good.

I've lived in Cedar Grove for about 1 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.

there are trade-offs but the good outweighs the bad. When I first moved here from Denver, I was surprised by job market. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.

A few things worth knowing:
- Cost of living is very reasonable
- Good schools in most areas
- The community vibe scene is surprisingly good

The downsides:
- Not a lot of cultural diversity
- Bugs and humidity in summer

Overall I'd rate it 5/10 for young professionals. It's not for everyone but it works for us..

I'd say the biggest thing people don't talk about is community vibe. it's not perfect but it works for me. Worth doing your research before committing.

I've lived in The Heights for about 11 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.

I have mixed feelings honestly. When I first moved here from Nashville, I was surprised by safety. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.

A few things worth knowing:
- Four distinct seasons
- Good airport with direct flights
- The job market scene is tough

The downsides:
- Dating scene is rough
- Homeless population growing downtown

Overall I'd rate it 5/10 for singles. Give it a chance - it might surprise you..

Weather-wise, the summers are underrated and winters are competitive. You get used to it after the first year.

Renting here right now, paying about /mo for a 4-bedroom. I have mixed feelings honestly. Compared to Atlanta it's solid.
