Best hidden gems in Hastings

Hi all, You can expect to pay around $1,184 for rent here. Household incomes average around $92,940 in Hastings. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. The suburbs are where most families end up. What neighborhoods would you suggest? The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. Property taxes are high but you get good services. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level.

I'm a pharmacist and I've found it's not perfect but it works for me. The community is hit or miss and there's always something going on.

My experience has been mostly positive. it's been a really good experience overall. The only thing I'd watch out for is cultural scene. Other than that, Give it a chance - it might surprise you..

Bought a house here in 2018 and it's been a really good experience overall. Property values have gone up a bit since then.

Came here for a fresh start and stayed because I wouldn't want to live anywhere else right now. The healthcare is honestly excellent and I don't see that changing anytime soon.

I've lived in Westside for about 3 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.

it's improved dramatically in recent years. When I first moved here from Boston, I was surprised by community vibe. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.

A few things worth knowing:
- Cost of living is very reasonable
- Four distinct seasons
- The dating scene scene is better than expected

The downsides:
- Property taxes are high
- Limited shopping options

Overall I'd rate it 7/10 for couples. Feel free to reach out with questions..
