Hastings vs San Diego -which is better?

I'm originally from Tucson and Median household income is $92,940, which feels pretty solid for the area. It's a a small town city with about 22,050 people. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. Does this match your experience? People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. The suburbs are where most families end up. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. My experience has been mostly positive. I genuinely enjoy living here. The only thing I'd watch out for is dating scene. Other than that, Feel free to reach out with questions..

Bought a house here in 2015 and I love the pace of life here. Property values have gone up a bit since then.
