Hey, I'm a college student here and The median home value here is around $361,800, which seems about average. Crime rate is something to consider -Haverstraw sits at 224.2 per 100K. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. The weather takes some getting used to. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse.
