Curious what people think. I'm originally from Chicago and The unemployment rate is 2.6%, which is pretty low. Median household income is $106,798, which feels pretty solid for the area. Rent is about $1,314/month for a decent place. Crime rate is something to consider -Havre de Grace sits at 259.2 per 100K. The weather takes some getting used to. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. The suburbs are where most families end up. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood.
