Best neighborhoods to rent in Hawaiian Paradise Park?
Median household income is $81,892, which feels pretty solid for the area. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. What neighborhoods would you suggest?

Not gonna lie, the first year was rough. But once you find your neighborhood and your people, I wouldn't want to live anywhere else right now. Would recommend to anyone considering it..

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 11 years ago from San Francisco and here's my honest breakdown:
Housing: It's gotten pricier but still beats the coasts. We're paying /mo for a 1-bed in Sunset. It's improving for what you get.
Jobs: The market is manageable right now, especially in legal. If you're in marketing you might struggle.
People: Generally surprisingly good. It took about 7 months to build a solid friend group.
Food: excellent. Tons of options if you like seafood.
Definitely worth checking out..

Pros I've experienced:

- Low crime in most neighborhoods
- Affordable housing options
Cons that are real:
- Summers can be brutally hot
- Urban sprawl is real
Financially, we've found it better than expected compared to where we came from. Older homes are where the value is. Groceries are reasonable, gas is solid.
Socially, there are trade-offs but the good outweighs the bad. Your mileage may vary depending on what you're looking for..
