Studio apartments in Hawthorne -options?

First post here. With a population of 19,472, Hawthorne is a small town. Household incomes average around $118,093 in Hawthorne. The median home value here is around $499,200, which is pretty steep. Average temperature is around 53--F, so expect cold winters. Poverty rate is 2.5%, which is pretty low. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that.

Pros:
- Low taxes
- Easy commute
- Strong sense of community
- Good internet infrastructure
- Plenty of shopping options

Cons:
- Lack of diversity
- Poor road conditions
- Mosquitoes and humidity
- Homelessness issues downtown
- Not enough green space
Am I wrong here? Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. We moved here with our family and I wouldn't want to live anywhere else right now. Schools in The Heights area are underrated. Kids love it here.
